NAD Introduces Custom iPod™ Dock

Optional NAD iPod Dock Enhances the iPod Experience

CEDIA EXPO, Denver, Sept. 6, 2007 - NAD Electronics, the highly regarded manufacturer of high -performance audio/video components, introduces a custom iPod™ Dock designed to enhance the Apple iPod experience, at CEDIA EXPO '07, beginning here today.

NAD's new iPod Dock is an easy, convenient way to enjoy iPod -based music and video on an NAD audio or audio/video system. The attractive black -and -white dock features a weighted base with a rubber foot to provide a stable platform. It works with the 4G and 5G iPods, as well as the Mini, Nano, Photo, and Video models.

Users will be pleasantly surprised at how good an iPod can sound when played back on a high -performance NAD system. The convenience of controlling an iPod while viewing song titles on a big, bright TV, navigated with an NAD remote, enhances the iPod experience and makes music -sharing more enjoyable than ever.

In addition to serving as a convenient, stable home base for an iPod, the NAD iPod Dock sends stereo audio signals via gold -plated RCA jacks to other NAD components. It sends video signals via an S -Video cable from a Video iPod to an NAD system or TV. And it charges the iPod battery.

The dock also lets owners control their iPods using an NAD remote, and display the iPod's music library on a TV using NAD's On Screen Display function on select NAD models that have the requiredrear -panel Dock Port.

At present, NAD components including the Dock Port are the new T 785, T 775 and T 555 AV Receivers and the T 175 Preamp -Tuner -Processor.

Navigation through the NAD Dock is fast and responsive, in keeping with Apple's renowned iTunes™ music library software. The Dock displays track and playing time information, and the music library can be browsed without interrupting play. Volume is controlled by the NAD receiver connected to the iPod Dock.

The Dock comes with a one -meter connection cable, a compact charging module that works with any AC voltage from 100V to 240V, and adaptors for different electrical systems around the world.

NAD's new iPod Dock is available now at a suggested price of $199 (U.S. MSRP). It can be seen with other outstanding NAD products at Booth 1050, Denver Convention Center, during CEDIA.
