"Smart Home" system comes standard in South Loop community

Condominium tower homes are available in one -bedrooms, one -bedroom -plus -den, two -bedrooms and two -bedroom -plus -dens with prices beginning in the low $200,000s. Studio loft homes are priced from $189,900, one -bedroom loft homes from $214,900 and two -bedroom loft homes from $319,900. Both buildings will share a bright glass lobby and a full range of amenities.

Using their "Smart Home" remote, homeowners at 2100 will be able to enjoy practical conveniences such as shutting their lights off from bed. They can also use more advanced settings to pre -program lighting and music, allowing them to save energy by turning off power automatically during low usage periods, such as nighttime or the work day. The remote itself can be used universally throughout the home.
"The remote can make entertaining easy, with preprogrammed multi -media settings, but on top of that, it's a cool new gadget. Homeowners will have one more thing to show their friends and family, in addition to the residences' high -end finishes," said Augunas.
All homes in both the condominium tower and the loft midrise feature a balcony or terrace, per plan; hardwood flooring in the kitchen and living areas; and wall -to -wall carpeting in the bedrooms. Kitchens include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and Grohe faucets. Baths include marble tiles and vanities. Additionally, all homes will be pre -wired for high -speed Internet, cable and telephone access.
According to Augunas, buyers at 2100 have also been attracted to the community's high level of amenities, which are not often available for homes in this price range. The shared amenities floor includes a media room with a large -screen TV and DVD hook -up; a state -of -the -art fitness center; and a Wi -Fi business and meeting lounge.
Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool and hot tub, running track, and barbeque patio. Additionally, the community features a secure, heated garage and indoor bicycle storage. Each individual residence also has access to a private storage area. All common areas, including the pool deck, feature wireless Internet access.
