Somfy Expands Control of RTS Motors with the RS232 to RTS Interface

Denver, CO September 2007 - Somfy Systems, Inc. now offers the RS232 to RTS Interface, a 16 -channel RTS transmitter that enables third party home automation systems to directly control Somfy's line of Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS) motors and controls. The interface plugs directly into a standard 115V AC electrical outlet and converts both powerline X10 signals and hard -wired RS232 to RTS to provide maximum flexibility.
The availability of this new interface allows users to experience the many benefits that RTS motors and controls offer while at the same time having compatibility with the home automation system of their choice. The addition of the RS232 to RTS Interface to Somfy's already robust product line further demonstrates Somfy's commitment to providing end users with products that enhance their control of motorized window coverings and projection screens.
