Programmable, Remote Controlled Mounting Solution Extends, Tilts and Swivels Displays Allowing the Widest Range of Reflection-Free, On-Axis Viewing and Mounting Location Options

DENVER, September 6, 2007 - CLO Systems, an industry leader in advanced mounting solutions for flat panel displays, is showing its award -winning X -arm™ robotic mounting solution this week at the CEDIA Expo in Denver. CLO's exclusive X -arm is a remote controlled robotic arm for adjusting the viewing angle of flat panel displays in order to eliminate glare, reflection, and off -axis viewing problems. The fully motorized variable tilt up, tilt down and swivel left and right functions provide maximum mounting location flexibility while maintaining optimum on -axis viewing.

At the touch of a button on the provided universal remote control or via a RS -232 controlled touch panel, X -arm's Robotic Display Mounting Solution (RDMS™) smoothly extends the TV 12 inches from the wall allowing the viewer to adjust the swivel left/right range of motion from 20 to 28 (depending on display size) in either direction, and tilt range up to 20 down and 7 up until the optimum glare -free, on -axis viewing angle is obtained and stored. Four programmable memory locations are provided to recall viewing preferences for day and night, or user one and two.

"X -arm's affordable robotic technology effortlessly eliminates the major complaints associated with viewing and installing flat panel displays: glare, reflection and limited mounting options because of off -axis viewing problems and troubling lighting issues," said Ken Nguyen, Director of Sales and Marketing at CLO Systems. "This X -arm solution, in conjunction with its easy, remote operation capabilities, also allows consumers to have the TV installed exactly where they want it, further extending the flat panel's placement opportunities."

The universal IR remote control is provided to control the X -arm as well as other AV components. X -arm is compatible with RS -232 -based control systems from Crestron, Life|ware, AMX, Control 4 and other leading providers, making X -arm a true home automation system component. Cable management provisions include concealment via a bellows located behind the display. The bellows also prohibits foreign objects from interfering with the movement of the actuators. X -arm is easily installed in the same manner as any conventional manual wall -mounting unit. A universal mounting attachment kit is provided to facilitate easy coupling with the flat panel. In the retracted position, the TV is unobtrusive, residing a mere 4.6 inches from the wall.
Availability and Sizes
Invisible from the front of the TV, X -arm is available now and is designed to accommodate plasma or LCD flat panel TVs in 40 to 63 -inch sizes up to 180 pounds.
