(UL) to be a certified Client Data Test Site (CDTS). With the new test site, Chief will be able to test most products for UL standards in -house, submitting the paperwork to UL for final review (automated products will not be tested by Chief).
UL is an independent, not -for -profit product safety certification organization that has been testing products and writing Standards for Safety for over a century. In order to receive certification by UL to be a CDTS, Chief had to meet ISO17025 qualifications as a test facility, pass a UL inspection of the test lab and have proven knowledge of the UL standards.
