The Promotion of Three Key Executives Garret Weyand, Geoff Miller and Raymond Nakano Marks a New Era As The Company Prepares for Continued Growth.
PHOENIX, AZ. - August 1, 2007 - OmniMount, a global leader in both consumer and commercial mounting solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of three key executives, structuring the company for continued growth on a global scale. This shift in executive management enables the company to leverage the depth of its executive management team. The promotions announced are:
• Geoff Miller, former executive vice president, has been promoted to president;
• Raymond Nakano, former vice president and controller, has been promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer;
Garret Weyand, Vice Chairman:
As vice chairman, Weyand will act as a senior advisor to Miller and Nakano. He'll lend his more than 30 years of product development experience to the gentlemen as they strategize for growth.
Geoff Miller, President:
As president, Miller will have responsibility for managing overall long -term growth and ensuring that the company's organizational, capital and operating resources are effectively aligned with strategic profitability objectives. Business development and new product launches are at the top of the list for the next several quarters. Miller joined OmniMount in 1998, and has more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and product development. Prior to OmniMount, Miller pioneered a variety of English speaker lines and audio video racks, and later founded, owned and operated Melody Audio and Standesign, out of Denver, Colorado.
Raymond Nakano, Executive Vice President and CFO:
Reporting to president Geoff Miller, Nakano is responsible for the accounting, finance, information technology and human resources functions of OmniMount. Nakano has been with the company since 2004 and has more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to OmniMount, Nakano held executive level management positions at National Airlines, Inc. and America West Airlines, Inc.
