HD -SDI Encoder Added to the TV One Product Lineup

TV One-task combats the digital era with the new high-performance 1T-C2-520 DVI, RGB, YUV to SD/HD-SDI converter which is perfect for the professional or broadcast market.


MARGATE, Kent, 10th May 2007 - The new 1T -C2 -520 adds to the list of high -quality conversion devices available through the TV One -task™ product line. The 1T -C2 -520 converts DVI -D 720p or 1080i HD signals to HD -SDI for broadcast or professional use. It also converts analog YPbPr or RGBHV to HD -SDI and standard analog YUV signals at 525i or 625i to SD -SDI.

Since the 1T -C2 -520 doesn't perform scaling, a chart is provided to assist in selecting the exact vertical input rates as the video source must have correct timing in order to be converted to SD/HD -SDI.

TV One's CORIO2 technology ensures crisp picture detail when encoding takes place. A proprietary de -jitter circuit helps to optimize signal integrity even with analog video sources.

The 1T -C2 -520 is housed in a Desktop metal case and an optional Single/Dual Rackmount Kit is available. It can be operated from the front panel or an RS -232 connection. An On Screen Display makes operation fast and simple.

The suggested retail price for the 1T -C2 -520 is £560 (€823) and will be available in June.
