David Bruce Appointed Vice -Chair for HLCA

Alliance Member and Industry Veteran from Square D to Help Promote Lighting Control

Warrenton, VA - February 26, 2007 - David Bruce of SquareD/Clipsal has been elected by the members of the Home Lighting Control alliance as the groups' Vice -Chair. Mr. Bruce joined the alliance on behalf of Square D at the outset last September and has been an active participant in the group's development. The appointment is effective immediately.

David Bruce has twenty -four years of professional experience in the electrical and controls industry having worked with top companies such as Sylvania, Challenger/Westinghouse, Cutler -Hammer and Square D. Upon Square D's acquisition of Clipsal, a world -wide leader in lighting control and home automation, Mr. Bruce was promoted to National Sales Manager for the brand in 2005.

Among his many accomplishments was the launch of the very first Square D/Clipsal Lighting Control Design Centre in Orlando Florida. Mr. Bruce supervised construction of the state -of -the -art facility which serves as a showcase of lighting control and home automation for designers, homebuilders, architects and integrators. Mr. Bruce recently relocated to Orlando and is now based at this location near the Mall of Millennia.
