MvixUSA BOOSTS WI -FI SECURITY WITH A FIRMWARE UPDATE TO SUPPORT WPA ENCRYPTION

FAIRFAX, VA - February 13th, 2007 - MvixUSA, today announced the latest release of firmware update (ver. 1.1.17) which WPA Security encryption environment on their popular, award-winning Mvix (MX-760HD) HD Wireless Media Centers.

The free firmware update is available for download at firmware.mvixusa.com. Current Mvix MX -760HD users can easily upgrade to the latest version by downloading this new version of MX -760HD firmware update, and then following the simple update procedure on their Mvix Media Centers.

The new Mvix MX -760HD firmware update adds support for 802.1x authentication and Wi -Fi Protected Access (WPA) encryption standards to allow users to integrate their Mvix Media Centers with their fortified home/office networks, making it consistent with their networking needs. WPA provides enhanced, interoperable security that increases the level of data protection and access control for wireless LANs.
