TV One scales new heights with TEN more amazing products!

TV One expands its award-winning CORIO2™ range with 10 new Switcher/Scalers and Scan Converters.

MARGATE, KENT, 25th January 2007 - TV One has announced a new and exciting product range, the C2 -2000 Series of Switcher/Scalers and Scan Converters. These units are based on TV One's exclusive CORIO2™ technology and consist of 4 Down Converters, 4 Video Switcher/Scalers and 2 Universal Video Switcher/Scalers.

All units within the C2 -2000 Series provide high -quality conversion between standard video and DVI or Analog computer and HDTV signals. These powerful units can handle any computer resolution up to 2048 x 2048 and all HDTV resolutions up to 1080p and a wide variety of computer signal formats are available to support PC, Mac and Workstation formats.

The unique CORIO2™ video processing engine powers the entire product range and because it is entirely firmware based, it can be upgraded at any time by downloading the latest firmware version from the TV One website. This enables new features to be added to these products for many years after the initial purchase. This "obsolescence insurance" means that all C2 products, including the C2 -2000 Series, can always be upgraded to the latest version of that model at no extra cost to the user.

Additional features are available on selected models, including Genlock with Subcarrier Phase Adjustment, Picture -In -Picture, Chroma and Luma Keying with 4:4:4 sampling format for precision at pixel level, glitch -free Mixing between computer image and external video and Edge Blending that can be applied to any input, not just high resolution RGB images. Input Expansion modules are also available for the C2 -2000 Series allowing multiple additional inputs to be added to any unit, and as these desktop units also come with a single or dual rackmount option, this versatile and adaptable series can fit into any space required.

The exclusive AutoSet® feature takes the hassle out of set up by automatically sizing and positioning the computer image to fit exactly on the video screen and all settings can be stored in a non -volatile memory to be retained even when the unit is switched off. All the functions can be controlled via the front panel Push Buttons, an Infrared Remote Control Unit or via an RS -232 or IP connection. A Windows Control Panel is provided and most third party control systems interface directly with the entire C2 range of products.

Variable zoom to 10X allows you to enlarge any part of the Input source to fill the entire screen and position controls allow you to move around to any area desired. Variable Shrink to as little as 10% allows fitting the image onto most displays. The advance Digital Flicker Elimination circuitry and high sampling rate ensures crisp, clear images, while full bandwidth chroma sampling ensures faithfully reproduced, high resolution colours.

NTSC and PAL standards are supported and Inputs/Outputs consist of Composite Video, S -Video, YUV Component, YPbPr (Progressive Scan) Component and RGB. An SDI output is also available on some models.

All units in the C2 -2000 series can be seen on demonstration or display at ISE 2007 on TV One's stand A70.
