FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WOODBURY, NY - Infinity Systems is offering a first look at new, environmentally friendly loudspeaker technologies and materials at the Responsible Sound exhibit on display at CES® 2007.

The exhibit includes examples of recyclable, replenishable and biodegradable materials that are being evaluated for use in loudspeaker enclosures, components and finishes.

Infinity® is working with materials experts from around the world to ensure that all the manufacturing processes and materials are environmentally safe, and that they meet the performance standards required for Infinity loudspeakers.

In addition to providing ecological advantages, materials used in loudspeaker enclosures need to adapt to a wide range of design options and form factors to create the unique sculptured shapes and contours that are an Infinity hallmark. Enclosures must also be inert and extremely rigid to provide significant sonic benefits.

Paul Bente, president of the Home Products Division of the Harman Consumer Group, pointed out: "Our Responsible Sound showcase represents an exciting future direction not just for Infinity, but for the entire industry." The utilization of 'green' materials and ecologically conscious manufacturing processes is extremely significant and beneficial to the environment. Our challenge is to ensure that the materials chosen in no way compromise (and, in fact, possibly improve upon) the performance of Infinity loudspeakers."
