Nexus Audio Systems, a manufacturer of high quality multi-room control systems, has become the first Canadian company to receive approval from XM Radio to begin producing a satellite radio tuner for the Custom A/V market.

Nexus Audio Systems, a manufacturer of high quality multi -room control systems, has become the first Canadian company to receive approval from XM Radio to begin producing a satellite radio tuner for the Custom A/V market. The T -2 Dual Tuner is an XM Satellite Radio, and an AM/FM tuner, combined in an attractive 1U chassis with a blue back lit display. The T -2 is not simply another "XM Ready" unit, but a complete "XM Radio" piece. This means that the entire chip set is integrated right into the tuner and an add -on module is not required to receive XM Satellite Radio programming.


Designed to work with the Nexus Audio Systems C -6 series A/V Controllers, all of the T -2 tuner information, including station name, artist and song title, will be transmitted to the LCD displays on the accompanying K -8 and K -22 keypads. With its RS232 connection, this tuner can also be purchased as a 'stand alone' piece and seamlessly integrated into any control system.
