D -BOX Ships Universal Motion Platform Delivering Next Dimension in Immersive Entertainment

Easily Retrofits to Existing Home Theater Settings and Most Single-seat Configurations Allowing Viewers to Feel the Film; Offered at a Third of the Price of Current D-BOX Systems

Montreal, Quebec - Nov. 7, 2006 - D -BOX Technologies Inc. (TSX -V: DBO.A), a leading provider of motion technology for immersive entertainment and home theater, today announced that it is shipping its highly -anticipated Universal Motion Platform (UMP). The UMP features a two -point actuator system in a plug -and -play product that is easy to install on most single seats or can be retrofitted to an existing home theater set -up. The UMP is offered at a third of the price of current D -BOX motion simulation systems, and works in conjunction with a wide variety of DVDs that are D -BOX motion compatible which allow viewers to literally "feel the film" by transporting the subtle motion of a plane, car or ocean wave directly into the viewer's chair.

"The UMP makes it easier than ever before to enjoy motion that is perfectly synchronized with the action sequences in a movie, game or TV series," said Claude
Mc Master, president and CEO of D -BOX Technologies Inc. "With its easy adaptability and competitive price point, the new UMP will help us deliver motion - the final component in truly immersive entertainment - to a much broader clientele."

The UMP is designed to work with D -BOX motion codes specifically programmed for each film, TV series or video game, resulting in motion that is perfectly synchronized with on -screen action. The UMP's two -point motion actuator system lifts the viewer's seat, creating realistic motion for an unparalleled viewing experience. It is easily installed under most types of single seats and two -stage recliners without making modifications to the chair's design.

In addition to the UMP, D -BOX also manufactures Quest and Custom Motion Platform (CMP), two motion simulation products designed for home theater, media and gaming rooms. Quest is a stylish and comfortable recliner chair available in a single -seat or love -seat configuration that features pre -installed D -BOX motion actuators. CMP (formerly known as Odyssee), is a custom -built motion platform designed for installation in pre -built or dedicated home theater set -ups.

Pricing and Availability
The UMP has a recommended list price of USD $3,599 and is available through D -BOX and its worldwide resellers. All D -BOX products require a motion controller system that may require the use of a PC running Windows™ 2000 or XP operating system, with a standard USB port. D -BOX offers over 650 encoded movies and television series, and adds approximately 10 -15 new titles every month that can be enjoyed with the UMP.
