NuVision Appoints Bob Altenbern Director of Training

Scottsdale, Ariz., Oct. 30, 2006 - NuVision U.S., Inc. (, a Scottsdale -based manufacturer of high performance Deep Black™ LCD and 1080p LED DLP® televisions, is proud to announce that it has appointed 20 -year industry veteran Bob Altenbern as director of training. In this role, Altenbern will be responsible for NuVision product training.

"Bob's industry background combined with strong market knowledge and involvement in a variety of aspects of the consumer electronics market will add considerable depth and skill to the NuVision organization," said Paul Fredrickson, NuVision vice president, marketing and strategic planning.

Altenbern joins NuVision with more than two decades in the consumer electronics industry. Most recently Altenbern was eastern regional sales manager for Adcom, where he was responsible for managing outside sales reps and distributors as well as training reps and dealers on Adcom products. Prior to Adcom, Altenbern was involved in OEM business development and sales of audio processing technology and engineering services for Momentum Data Systems. Altenbern spent five years at Sensory Science in a variety of roles including product marketing manager of the California Audio Labs product line as well as GoVideo dual -deck DVD/VCR and DVD audio products. Lastly, Altenbern also has a solid background in CE retail, having spent ten years managing sales and buying at Havens & Hardesty / Genesis Audio in southern California.
