AVAD Declares October 2006 to be National Grand Opening Month

Leading Home Electronics Distributor Celebrates Expansion to 36 Distribution Centers Nationwide

Van Nuys, Calif. - October 4, 2006 - AVAD, America's leading distributor of custom home electronics, has declared October 2006 to be National Grand Opening month. The company, which currently comprises 36 distribution centers nationwide, will be celebrating the openings of new distribution centers in Austin, Tampa, Raleigh, Chicago, Richmond, Philadelphia, San Jose and Las Vegas.


To celebrate the openings, AVAD invites all dealers and potential dealers to the National AVAD Open House and Barbecue on Friday, October 13. The barbecues, long known to be an AVAD tradition, will be held that day at all AVAD locations, new and old, from coast to coast. On this day, any AVAD dealer who visits an AVAD location on October 13 will receive 5 percent off their entire purchase - including plasmas, LCDs, receivers, speakers, furniture, televisions, wires and clearance items.

Also as part of the celebration, AVAD will offer a "Come Grow with AVAD" incentive for dealers, taking 5 percent off all brands or categories within targeted brands that dealers have never purchased before. The discount will apply for the entire month of October. For example, if a dealer has never purchased Panasonic products from AVAD, they will receive 5 percent off all Panasonic orders for the entire month of October.

Moreover, if the dealer has purchased Marantz products, for example, but never a Marantz projector, that dealer will additionally enjoy a 5 percent discount for all Marantz projectors ordered during the month of October.
