4Sight Remote Home Monitoring and Control Service Honored for
Innovative Technology and Ease of Use

SEPTEMBER 28, 2006 - Salt Lake City, Utah - Control4, the leader in affordable home automation and entertainment solutions, today announced that it has won the 2006 Electronic House Product of the Year Award for its 4Sight service, which gives customers the ability to monitor and control their homes via internet access from anywhere. 4Sight also enables dealers to offer an unprecedented amount of service to their customers from remote locations.

"We are pleased that Electronic House recognized 4Sight as a significant leap forward for customers and the home automation industry at large," said Will West, Chief Executive Officer, Control4. "The availability of true, affordable remote management of home automation from any location via the internet represents an entirely new dimension for the home automation industry."

The 4Sight service allows homeowners to monitor and control their home from anywhere via a web browser. In addition, customers can receive email notifications about events occurring in the home. For dealers, 4Sight provides a way to program, maintain and upgrade customers' Control4 installations, with their permission, without having to schedule a service call. Dealers will be able to configure systems from anywhere, allowing for faster reaction times and operational cost savings.

"Control4 is bringing a fundamental shift to the home automation industry with affordable wired and wireless products," said Cindy Davis, Editor -in -Chief of Electronic House. "The 4Sight service is transforming the home automation marketplace by giving consumers what they have dreamed of - the ability to easily and affordably control their homes from anywhere.'

The Electronic House Product of the Year is awarded annually to products that represent a step forward for the industry, while showcasing exceptional innovation and provide great value to consumers. The 2006 winners were chosen by a panel that sorted through hundreds of applicants, tested product demos, and spoke with actual dealers and installers.
