Cinetron Technology Inc. introduces the HD-900 1080p projector
San Jose, CA -(Sept. 13, 2006) -Cinetron Technology Inc. (headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan) has introduced the HD -900 1080p projector. The HD -900 features three ultrafine LCoS panels, each with 2 million pixels, delivering full high definition (HD) 1920x1080 resolution, a 6000:1 contrast ratio, and integrated Realta HQV® processing all at an MSRP of US $6000. The HD -900 is the world's first 1080p projector to feature built -in Realta HQV (Powered by Teranex) processing.

The Realta HQV video engine encompasses true 10 -bit video processing; full -resolution four -field, pixel -based, motion -adaptive video deinterlacing for SD and HD signals; temporal -recursive and codec noise reduction; automatic film -based and advanced cadence detection; and pixel -based detail enhancement. It also uses the same video processing power -one trillion operations per second -as the famous $60,000 Teranex Xantus box.
Cinetron's HD -900 features three 0.7" Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS panels), each with 1920x1080 pixels of resolution -a total of more than 2 million pixels.
The patented Full HD CRYSTAL Light Engine™ and the optical projection system deliver a native 6,000:1 contrast ratio. They were designed to maximize the performance of LCoS panels and deliver the full resolution of the 1080p display.
Price, Availability, Warranty
The manufacturers suggested retail price of Cinetron's new HD -900 is US$6000.
It will be available in the U.S. in October 2006 through custom -installation and A/V equipment dealers. The projector comes with a two -year limited warranty on parts and labor, plus a 1000 -hour warranty on the lamp.
