Extron Introduces New MGP 464 Four Window Multi -Graphic Processor

Extron Electronics is pleased to announce the MGP 464, a Four Window Multi-Graphic Processor for picture-in-picture display of HDTV and high resolution computer-video graphics or PAL/NTSC video sources.

Anaheim, California (September 14, 2006) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce the MGP 464, a Four Window Multi -Graphic Processor for picture -in -picture display of HDTV and high resolution computer -video graphics or PAL/NTSC video sources. The MGP 464 accepts up to 19 input sources and features a true 19x4 input matrix switcher that allows any source to be displayed in any or all four available on -screen windows. The MGP 464 is ideal for use in sophisticated residential environments that can benefit from a wide variety of applications with multiple images shown on the same screen.

The MGP 464 features four fully configurable inputs that accept all popular video formats, from HDTV up to 1080p, to S -video and composite video. In addition, Virtual Video Inputs are available for integrating up to 15 standard definition video sources including security cameras and legacy products such as VCRs. These inputs, which can be configured to accept various combinations of composite, S -video, and component video signals, free up the four configurable inputs for integrating high resolution HDTV sources or PCs. For DVI or HDMI sources such as HD set -top boxes and DVD players, the MGP 464 DI is available with four DVI inputs.
The MGP 464 also features simultaneous analog and DVI outputs for HDTV component video or RGB up to 1080p. Full front panel controls are provided for comprehensive, integrator and user -friendly access to all functions. For interfacing with home automation systems, the MGP 464 can be remotely configured and controlled via RS -232 serial control or Ethernet through the integrated IP Link® Web server. Also included is Windows® control software which provides a graphic user interface to ease set -up and operation of the MGP 464.
