Danish high-performance loudspeaker manufacturer announces a complete sonic upgrade to their entire range of décor-friendly on-wall loudspeakers.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 9, 2006 - Copenhagen, Denmark - Artcoustic Loudspeakers, from Denmark, has announced a complete sonic upgrade to their entire range of décor -friendly on -wall loudspeakers. The new X2 range from Artcoustic focuses squarely on performance, while furthering the company's iconic design principals. Several of the new X2 Artcoustic models will be on display in booth #655 at CEDIA EXPO 2006, at the Denver, CO Convention Center, from September 14 -17, 2006.
The signature of the X2 range is a new twin tweeter unit has a frequency response up to 40kHz, with a sensitivity that makes them perform with ease in cinema and high -end music systems.
The new bass drivers designed for the speakers are 5.5" units in the entry -level models - Diablo Mini Monitor, Diablo Monitor, DF -Multi, and the DF65 -50 - and twin 10" bass units in the flagship models, which now sport bass response well below 20Hz.
"Overall, the new X2 range means more accurate highs, lower bass from all the units, higher power handling, and more output than ever before," stated Artcoustic founder, Kim Donvig.
In addition to internal improvements, the company is now shipping its flagship speaker and subwoofer models - DFF180 -43, DFF120 -43, DF100 -75, DFS100 -75, and DFS75 -55 - with a separate power amplifier. The recently introduced PA -300 is a professional -grade 150 watt stereo amplifier, bridgeable to 300 watts mono.
Each pair of DFF120 -43 and DF100 -75 speakers ships with one PA -300. Each DFF180 -43, DFS100 -75 sub, and DFS75 -55 sub ships with its own PA -300. Effective September 1st, the amplifier - a $750 MSRP value - is now being included in the price of the speaker/subwoofer at no additional increase in cost.
The company has also just announced that all loudspeakers and subwoofers will be available in white as a standard finish, to complement the standard black or silver models. Custom painted cabinets remain an option for anyone wishing to match their décor.
Pricing ranges from the Diablo Mini Monitor at $1,150 MSRP / pair to the DFF180 -43 at $7,000 each. Custom cabinet finishes and art grilles are optional.
With roots in contemporary Danish design, the Artcoustic line represents the world's only complete line of high performance on -wall speakers and subwoofers. The flat, thin cabinetry makes a fitting complement to flat -panel video monitors or projection screen set -ups with a projector. And Artcoustic's vast array of grille options makes them as much an interior design choice as an audiophile decision.
Artcoustic loudspeakers combine a unique mix of art and design with the science of acoustics by encouraging its customers to be a part of the design process. The unique wall -mounting speakers' interchangeable grilles allow one to choose from a vast array of fabrics and decorative prints to suit the interior design. One may even put their own personal imprint on the product with custom cabinet finishes and the customer's own art or designs.
