ReQuest has announced a new partnership with Ripping Revolution, to promote ReQuest's new iQ System

Ballston Spa, New York -September 7, 2006 -ReQuest, the leading manufacturer and innovator who introduced the first digital music -server hardware and software for home entertainment and media systems, has announced a new partnership with Ripping Revolution, a music CD loading service, to promote ReQuest's new iQ System and features at CEDIA Expo 2006.

The ReQuest iQ System is the first multi -room audio system of its kind based on music server technology. The system offers true plug'n'play installation, superb audio playback to as many as eight independent zones, along with the ability to stream content to up to eight more zones via a wired or wireless home network. The full system consists of a hard -disk -based iQ Intelligent Media Server, a 16 -channel iQ Intelligent Multi -room Amplifier, an iQ Intelligent Multi -room Tuner touchscreen, touchpanel and wireless controller/displays.

"The iQ System is the most significant new product introduction for ReQuest in the history of the company. The Intelligent Media Server is the brain of the iQ system, and leverages the processing power and control software resident in the ReQuest music servers to deliver a whole house audio experience beyond compare." says Bill McKiegan, ReQuest's V.P. of Marketing & Sales. "Partnering with Ripping Revolution to promote this new product category for ReQuest will provide a valuable service to our installers saving them time and money."

Ripping Revolution provides best -in -class solutions for loading CD collections onto media servers using state -of -the -art robotic and computer automation. Custom software used by the company ensures the metadata is perfectly cataloged and accurate with CD cover art included. "As the user experience is more an extension of the quality of metadata, professional encoding and grooming becomes an important component of system design, adds McKiegan.

At CEDIA Expo 2006, ReQuest and Ripping Revolution will offer a promotion to custom installers and dealers: 100 CDs encoded free with the purchase of any ReQuest music server until the end of 2006. And 200 CDs encoded free for every ReQuest iQ Multiroom Audio System purchased during the Expo.

McKiegan continues, "At CEDIA, ReQuest will also unveil NetSync for iTunes designed to mirror music and playlists seamlessly, just as NetSync allows multiple AudioReQuest servers to share collections by syncing music and playlists over Ethernet, or Internet connections." With Automatic Dual Encoding (ADE), ReQuest can serve up CD quality throughout the house, while syncing with iTunes using MP3 for increased capacity on iPods..

"We're excited to collaborate with ReQuest to promote our services with their market leading products," says Sean Manzanares, CEO of Ripping Revolution. "Our service saves custom installers an incredible amount of time and money, adds Manzanares. "We have the technology, talent, and industry expertise to provide the highest service level in the industry."
