DVDO Honors Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness Month with Online Auction

Donation will be made in the name of Krell Industries' recently deceased COO Dean Roumanis who was an ardent supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Campbell, CA - September 7, 2006 - Anchor Bay Technologies, Inc. and DVDO® announced they will donate proceeds from their September online charity auction to the internationally recognized Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). September is Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Month which is an important time for the LLS to educate the public about blood cancers while garnering support and funding for research into finding a cure. All proceeds from the online auction will be made to the LLS in the name of Dean Roumanis who recently passed away of a heart attack at 52. As a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® Dean cycled to raise money for the LLS.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services. The Society's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. According to the LLS website an estimated 34,810 new cases of leukemia were diagnosed in the United States in 2005 while about 30 percent of cancers in children ages 0 -14 years are leukemia. At the present time there are approximately 198,257 people living with leukemia in the United States.

For September, DVDO will be auctioning off a brand new iScan™ VP20 along with a user installable Precision Deinterlacing™ Card, a silver, brushed aluminum faceplate, an AVIA Guide to Home Theater DVD, and a 6 -foot HDMI cable. August's product package carries a total retail value of $2,336.
