ACTIVE THERMAL MANAGEMENT LAUNCHES Cool -stick/18 for CONFINED SPACES

-- New product generates a wide and quiet air stream--

Valencia, CA. August 9, 2006 - Active Thermal Management, experts in quiet thermal protection solutions, today announced Cool -stick/18™, a half -length version of their popular 36" long Cool -stick designed for cooling flat -panel displays which have been recessed into walls or cabinets. Debuting at CEDIA EXPO, Cool -stick/18 will share the same small width (2 1/2') and depth (5/8') dimensions of the original, but only 18" in length, Cool -stick/18 is ideal for generating a wide ribbon of gently moving air in tightly -confined areas, such as between shelf -mounted or stacked components.

Like other Active Thermal Management products, Cool -stick/18 is whisper quiet, and is controlled by a remote thermal switch for completely automatic operation. Comprised of eight 50mm (2") fans mounted in elastomer -lined steel channels, it moves 30 CFM in free air.

"Cool -stick/18 builds on the success of its bigger brother, but is designed to fit where longer or wider air movers won't fit." said Frank Federman, ATM President.

Availability and Pricing

Available now, Cool -stick/18 (ATM part number 00 -701 -18) has a suggested retail price of 179.95.
