Axeze software improvements make installation even easier.

Theft in the workplace is growing and in the US alone White -collar crimes cost the United States more than $300 billion annually according to the FBI. White -collar crimes include fraud, bankruptcy fraud, bribery, insider trading, embezzlement, computer crime, medical crime, public corruption, identity theft, environmental crime, pension fund crime, consumer fraud, occupational crime, securities fraud, financial fraud, and forgery. The tools of the trade are paperwork or through the computer and performed by using paperwork or computers. Theft of cash, stationery and the like is on the increase. White -collar crimes go largely undetected.

Another issue affecting consumers today is that carrying cards is almost as bad as carrying keys. A different card for every site means that some people are carrying five or more cards.

Australian Company Axeze has developed a range of RFID systems to specifically target these areas of a business and bring this level of security into the home with the strategy of one secure card for all tasks and all sites.

Axeze the most flexible Australian access control product on the market today now integrates with IQ Home to provide even greater functionality with this product. Axeze also interfaces with C -Bus and several home automation, energy management and aged care products.

Axeze is proud to announce at the CEDIA exhibition significant improvement in its software design and presentation to assist both installers and end users. From an end user and programming viewpoint a few of the new and improved functions include:
„« Increased communication speed between reader and the host for tag validation.
„« Logout feature in KENMon.
„« Show card names while transmitting offline keys on Exit.
„« Send offline keys to all the readers or only to the selected one.
„« The ability to ˇ§Add new cardsˇ¨ is now available under the ˇ§cardˇ¨ menu.

From an installers point of view the Scan Network feature allows installers to recognise if they have not given each controller an ID number. The ID number in an Axeze system is very important, as the Axeze system is a distributed system. Each controller handles all of the access permissions; logged events for its own access point. In order to communicate on the network, its ID is required so that the Axeze system knows exactly which controller it is communicating with. Previously an installer might not realise he had two Axeze Controllers on the network with the same ID number, the Scan network function reports how many controllers are on the network so an installer can easily recognise he has two with the same number. This should reduce hours of installation time.

With Axeze, no longer do you need to store or lug heavy controllers around to install an Access Control System? No longer will you run out of I/O when trying to give your clients the greatest possible functionality. Now you can expand clients systems at a later date for a low cost and you can use either Axeze highly secure or Weigand industry standard systems. What could be more convenient than that?
