Introducing the Sudoku Pro Electronic Handheld Game by Abcron

Popular Logic-Based Numerical Puzzle in a Sleek Handheld Game Format

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., August 7, 2006 - Abcron Corporation today announced the introduction of their first consumer electronic gaming product, the Sudoku Pro Electronic Handheld Game. A popular game in Japan since 1986, the Sudoku puzzle gained international popularity in 2005. Abcron's sturdy and sleek handheld version takes this game out of the magazines and literally puts it into consumers' hands in an easy to use, fun on the go format.

The Sudoku game is a puzzle consisting of a 9x9 cell grid, with each of the nine cell grids broken up into 3x3 sub -grids, called 'regions'. The goal of the game is to enter a numerical digit from 1 to 9 into each cell, while ensuring that each row, column and region contains only one instance of each numeral. The game begins with the computer game providing various digits, called "givens," in certain cells. The Sudoku Pro Electronic Handheld Game is designed to accommodate multiple skill levels, so there are three levels of game play, an auto -solve function and nine hints per game.

"We are pleased to offer this popular game in an easy -to -use format that allows consumers to bring it along for enjoyment anywhere," stated Abcron Vice President, Andy Huang. "The Sudoku Pro Electronic Handheld Game is a nice complement to our emerging line of consumer electronic lifestyle products."

The game device features a solid, sleek industrial design and has a 3" LCD screen with a blue backlight for easy viewing. Below the screen are ergonomically designed numerical keypads, directional buttons, game buttons such as "hint" and "submit" and basic function buttons. It uses two AA batteries. The MSRP of the Sudoku Pro is $19.99 and it is available for purchase at
