Kahler Named New Ci Business Development Manager

MARLBORO, NJ - July 31, 2006 - KEF, renowned British manufacturer of audiophile quality speakers, today announced the hiring of Chris Kahler as Custom Installation Business Development Manager. Kahler, who will be working closely with KEF's Ci product dealers, will help educate sales staff and installers about new KEF products, obtain feedback on existing and potential new product lines, strengthen dealer relationships, and develop new marketing strategies.

"We are extremely pleased to have Chris join the KEF team," said Alec Chanin, president of KEF America. "The breadth of experience and unique perspective that he brings to his new role at KEF is very exciting and we look forward to the substantial contributions that Chris will make to our Ci product segment and the company as a whole."

KEF designs and manufactures its Ci Series speakers to the same high standards of sound and build quality for which its free -standing speakers are so widely renowned. And rather than being merely modified versions of their stand -alone speakers, as is commonly the case with other manufacturers' custom installation offerings, the KEF Ci range of speakers are purpose -built from their inception to fulfill the very different requirements - both sonic and mechanical - of architectural applications.

"I plan to build the sales of KEF's custom installation line through better communication and service, continuing to meet and exceed the special requirements of the custom install segment. My goals include obtaining useful dealer feedback, refining current products as well as creating exciting new ones that offer innovative solutions going forward," Kahler said.

"I'm joining a terrific group of established professionals who really understand the needs of the custom install market and I'm proud to be part of a company that through high quality products, imaginative marketing and committed service has earned a position of leadership in the marketplace, he added."

Chris Kahler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and comes to KEF after being with Somfy Systems, Inc for the last 5 years, where he worked as the Residential Integrated Systems Manager. Over the last few years, Kahler has developed relationships with key industry partners, and created dynamic business opportunities within the residential integration systems market. He played a key role in new product development as well as in creating new distribution channels.

Kahler has particular interest, background and expertise in automation, control and systems integration, and sees great opportunity for KEF in those areas. "I'm thrilled by the possibilities inherent in KEF's wonderful line of motorized speakers which currently consists of the Ci200.2QT, the Ci3 -80QT and the CiFDT," stated Kahler. "I think of them as 'automated/motorized' speakers given their capabilities in that regard, and no other speaker manufacturer produces anything like them. I certainly intend to make our dealers, systems integrators and installers fully aware of the substantial and unique contribution they can make to a state -of -the -art, fully integrated and automated home theater system."

Talking Points:

- Chris Kahler joins KEF America as the New Ci Business Development Manger.
- KEF Ci Series products are purpose -built for the custom installation market.
- Kahler has a substantial background in systems integration, automation and control.
- Kahler will consult with custom installers helping KEF to further refine its current products and create exciting new ones.
