Hod's Designed Solutions Group Increases Profitability by Utilizing D -Tools System Integrator™

D-Tools, Inc. today announced that Hod's Designed Solutions Group is experiencing an increase in profitability of between 15-20% on any given project by utilizing D-Tools System Integrator 4.5.

CONCORD, CA - MAY 31, 2006 - D -Tools, Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, today announced that Hod's Designed Solutions Group, a system integrator and custom installer of high end audio/video and home automation systems is experiencing an increase in profitability of between 15 -20% on any given project by utilizing D -Tools System Integrator 4.5.

Hod's Designed Solutions Group, based out of Waterford, MI, is the oldest name in Detroit for home electronics, founded in 1932. The original business model sold and serviced car radios. Since that time, the company has successfully morphed through retail television sales, the projection TV and home theater boom of the 80's and 90's, and now into by -appointment, large -scale custom -oriented solutions.

Hod's, a long -time D -Tools user, began using the application in 2002, just a couple months after seeing a presentation at CEDIA. "Before that we were using a program to help with proposals, but it didn't have the drawing tools and comprehensive solution that D -Tools offered", said Timothy Corder, President of Hod's Designed Solutions Group. Prior to the utilization of D -Tools, Hod's was not executing large scale projects. D -Tools helped create new market opportunities and enabled Hod's to scale to meet the needs of their new clients. "We can accurately track all elements of a project, so we can now confidently bid and deliver on large six figure projects. I can't imagine doing one of these projects without the proper documentation that comes from implementing D -Tools."

D -Tools helped Hod's track all aspects of their projects, including time and labor, enabling them to accurately deliver on time and within the budget with almost no deviation from the original proposal. Said Corder, "Because D -Tools gives us a framework to learn from every project, we can better predict and deliver to the customer what we originally present in the proposal. Every project we learn new things and with D -Tools, we can add new items to the database which will then be available for future projects."

D -Tools has given Hod's the ability to accurately predict and understand time and costs, so they accurately charge their customers a clear, quantifiable amount for the work they do. D -Tools accounts for all items including many previously un -billable expenses, such as product acquisition, staging, burn -in, and other value added services. The result is faster bid preparations and higher accuracy in billing that leads to less costs that can never be billed to the client due to our previous oversight.

D -Tools System Integrator 4.5 (SI 4.5) enables systems integrators and custom installation professionals to create detailed projects managed with automated proposals, scheduling, pick lists, purchase orders and additional documents that streamline the integrated installation of audio and video products. By using a single, shared project file, system integrators and installers can pull information from a comprehensive database of tens of thousands of products, giving them the distinct advantage of designing systems using the most current product information, while saving hours of product research time.

"Embracing and utilizing project documentation has completely changed our business. D -Tools raises the bar on the level of quality we can deliver to both our clients and referral partners. It is inconceivable to try to complete the levels of systems we are working on without the documentation, project tracking, and overall detail that D -Tools provides to our company. We are clients for life."
