Two New Locations Now Open with Six More Scheduled in 2006; Thirty-Five Convenient Distribution Centers Targeted to Better Serve Dealers

Van Nuys, Calif. - May 24, 2006 - AVAD LLC, America's leading distributor of custom home electronics, is expanding at a rapid pace, with two new distribution centers now open and fully operational in Austin, TX, and Tampa, Fla., and six more locations slated to open in 2006.


Conveniently located to provide extensive dealer support and comprehensive product training, technical and sales assistance, the new AVAD locations also give customers a chance to see, touch and experience advanced home electronics and develop a one -on -one relationship with their local AVAD branch.

The locations in Austin and Tampa are celebrating their grand openings this month with food, fun and live entertainment. The new AVAD facilities planned for 2006 are: Las Vegas, Nev.; San Jose, Calif.; Morrisville, N.C.; downtown Chicago, Ill.; Richmond, Va.; and Woburn, Mass. Open house events are under way, with plans for special promotions and specialized training sessions for locally -based dealers.

At 23,606 square feet, AVAD -Austin features a demonstration show room to display products and showcase special offers, a large warehouse space containing the most popular new products and a convenient selection of products offered in AVAD's roster of superior brands. The location also houses a sales call center and technical support experts who can assist dealers with installation to application needs, as well as a large training room where AVAD University's courses are conducted. The will -call, shipping and receiving areas are easily accessible on the south side of the building, near the entrance. AVAD -Tampa offers an 18,000 square feet distribution center and an all -new "technology playroom," where consumers and integrators can see, hear and experience AVAD's line up of the most advanced, high -tech consumer electronics up close and personal. The location also features ample warehouse space, a large showroom with multiple product displays and new solutions applied to demonstrate the hottest products available on the market. AVAD -Tampa also houses a sales call center, two theater demonstration venues and a spacious training facility. The will -call area is located at the Tampa center's main entrance, with the shipping/receiving area in the back.
