New Gefen Extender Transmits Both Digital and Analog Audio With DVI HD Video

The newest HDTV extension solution from Gefen enables digital video computers and HD sources equipped with DVI to be extended up to 45 meters together with both digital and analog audio.

A benefit for anyone needing HD video plus audio on the receiving end, the Gefen DVI Audio Extenders provides several inputs and outputs for audio on its sender and receiver transmission system.

One DVI input/output is provided for HD digital video in resolutions up to 1080p or 1920x1200 for computers. Since DVI carries video only, TOSlink and S/PDIF digital audio ports are provided together with analog RCA stereo ports.

Two CAT -5 cables are used to send all connected audio/video components from the sender to the remote receiver, connected to the HDTV display and audio receivers.

The system works on a plug and play basis, requiring no additional hardware or software to operate.

Ideal for presentations, digital signage and in -store displays, Gefen's DVI Audio Extender promises a high level of audio and video quality on the receiving end.

The unit comes with one six foot DVI cable and one six foot audio RCA cable in addition to two power supplies that drive the system.

Gefen's DVI Audio Extender may be purchased through one of Gefen's resellers located throughout Asia and listed online at http://www.gefen.com/dealers/asia.jsp.
