Gefen Shows Interface Adapters for Connecting Legacy and Digital Equipment to HDMI at IS China

Two new conversion solutions from Gefen provide convenient solutions for audio/video systems using multiple digital and/or analog interfaces.

The DVI/Digital Audio to HDMI Conversion Box supplies a plug -and -play method of connecting a HD digital video source, including computers, together and any digital audio device to an HDMI display. High definition resolutions up to 1080p are supported and multichannel digital audio is delivered with no degradation or downtime.

The Component/Analog Audio to HDMI Conversion Box enables component video sources and any accompanying audio devices to feed into an HDMI display. Both video and audio are delivered to the display using the single HDMI interface, allowing for flexibility in connecting disparate components when upgrading to a new HD digital video display.

Both of Gefen½s Conversion Boxes perform a valuable role in integrating different audio/video components with a high -quality conversion capable of sustaining the highest resolutions possible. Each comes in a single box, accompanied by the appropriate connector cables and an external power supply that feeds the system conversion.

Expected to begin production in April 2006, Gefen's HDMI conversion solutions will be available for purchase through Gefen's resellers, listed online at Gefen.com.
