VONAGE® SELECTS BROADCOM® AS A CHIPSET PROVIDER FOR NEW INTERNET TELEPHONY PRODUCTS

Companies Join Together to Provide the Architecture Needed to Develop Low-Cost, Full-Featured VoIP Devices for Vonage Network


Holmdel, N.J. and Irvine, Calif. - April 5, 2006 - Vonage Network, a subsidiary of Vonage Holdings Corp., a leading broadband phone company, today announced it has selected Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq: BRCM), a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, as a VoIP chipset provider for future products. This collaboration will provide Vonage with opportunities to develop and work with manufacturers to produce new integrated devices compatible with the Vonage network.
