Audible Inc. and EMCC Software to Make Audible®Air Available on the UIQ V3.0 Platform

Manchester, UK - February 13th, 2005 - EMCC Software and Audible, Inc. (www.audible.com), the Internet's leading provider of spoken audio entertainment, information and educational programming, today announced that together they are extending the Audible®Air service to the UIQ V3.0 platform. AudibleAir is the first service to allow for the wireless delivery of spoken audio content to a variety of smart mobile devices.


Audible's online application allows users to subscribe, download and listen to audio versions of books, magazines, newspapers, and educational products, as well radio and TV programming. It has proven to be immensely popular in the US, and is quickly catching on in Europe.

Audible, with EMCC Software's development support, has already released versions of its Audible®Air application for Symbian -based mobile handsets. Audible now plans to upgrade AudibleAir to the UIQ V3.0 platform and EMCC Software has been chosen to create the new version and port it to a wide range of handsets.
