Today during I.S.E. 2006 we are proud to announce that the first meeting of Independent programmer was held in Brussel during I.S.E. 2006.

Mission :

To serve the needs and interests of systems programmers who are not employed by hardware vendors or integrators. The Council seeks to raise the stature of Independent Programmers in the industry, provide collective feedback to vendors, define standards of practice and share professional resources.

Future/Long -Term Activities and Goals:
• Council will identify independent programmer business issues
• Council will liaison with other pertinent InfoComm International councils on matters of mutual interest
• Subcommittees will address industry relations, membership criteria and standards of practice
