Silent, Precision Control for Motorised Roller Blinds Just Got Smaller!

Integrated Systems Europe 06
Brussels Expo, 1 -3 Feb 06, Stand E25

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. the world leader in lighting controls, will be exhibiting its latest silent, precision control for motorised blinds at Integrated Systems Europe. While providing the same precise, smooth movement and near -silent operation as its larger cousin, Roller 64 has the added advantage of fitting into headboxes as small as 89mm x 89mm and has a sleek roller tube that's just 41mm in diameter.

The Sivoia QED family of quiet electronic drives for roller blinds and curtains has been designed with flexibility in mind. They do not require group controllers, relays or line -voltage wiring between Electronic Drive Units and programming is easy and can be reconfigured at the point of control without rewiring or access to the Electronic Drive Unit. The intelligent electronic control allows Sivoia QED roller blinds to move smoothly, in perfect unison and with exact alignment across multiple windows.

"The addition of roller 64 to the already popular Sivoia QED family means a product line that provides roller blind solutions for practically any sized window," said Stacey Kim, market development manager at Lutron. "Architects and designers have been very receptive to the Sivoia QED product line, but the industry wanted more for both residential and commercial applications - they wanted the quiet, intelligent precision of Sivoia QED, but smaller. We are excited to showcase this new product at Integrated Systems Europe."

With the expansion of the Sivoia QED line, Lutron continues to open up new opportunities for lighting control by seamlessly integrating electric and natural light control systems. With a focus on innovation, world -class engineering and unparalleled customer service, Lutron blends technology with design and environmental sensitivity to provide the ideal solution for any specification.
