Electrolux Introduces Solaire Central Vacuum System
ORLANDO, Fla. - January 12, 2006 - Electrolux, a name known worldwide for quality and innovation announces the Solaire Central Vacuum System, setting a new standard for performance and healthy living.
"The Electrolux Solaire is a perfect addition for builders whose customers insist upon the very best products for their homes," says Larry Hartley, central vacuum system marketing director for Electrolux Home Care Products North America.
"The Solaire represents the state of the art in central vacuum system power, filtration, electronics and quiet performance," adds Hartley.
Available with 550 - or 600 air watts of cleaning power, the Electrolux Solaire is the most powerful single -motor central vacuum system product line. It allows users to clean more deeply and efficiently than ever before so they can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying their homes.
The system also brings intuitive technology to the homeowner. Its LCD display informs the user when the system's filters need cleaning and when to call for service. The display also advises the user about system performance and hours of use.
Its all -steel power unit was designed to release air around the motor, improving air handling and motor efficiency while reducing operating sound. The system also includes patented sound -reducing technology that offers quiet performance, maintains the power unit's sleek design and eliminates the need for an external muffler.
The Electrolux Solaire also features a unique two -stage filtration system to deliver improved indoor air quality. A high -efficiency CleanStream™ HEPA filter from the makers of GORE -TEX® fabric screens particulates as small as dust mites, pollen, plant spores and even tobacco smoke, preventing their recirculation in the living area. A secondary motor filtration system integrated into the power unit canopy filters fine dust naturally produced by motor brushes.
The Electrolux Solaire Central Vacuum System is available from a network of installing dealers throughout the U.S. The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the Solaire and its accompanying Cleaning Essentials hose, power brush and cleaning tools is less than $1,500. The entire system can be installed in virtually any new or existing home in less than one day. It carries a 10 -year limited warranty on the power unit. The HEPA filter is warranted for as long as the homeowner owns his or her home.
