Vutec Offers Anti -Reflective Black Backing for SoundScreen™

SoundScreen™ is now available with a Vision X™ anti-reflective black backing

Pompano Beach, FL - (December 22, 2005) -Vutec Corporation announced today that its SoundScreen™ is now available with a Vision X™ anti -reflective black backing to eliminate light reflections from behind the acoustically transparent screen.

Branded as a Vision X addition, the anti -reflective black backing also improves screen performance. "Not only does it help make the material [SoundScreen] smoother looking, but it further enhances contrast and black level," stated Alan Gouger, President of AV Science. "I highly recommend adding black backing." Gouger added.

The black backing has been designed to lay flush to the SoundScreen material. The position of the center channel speaker behind the SoundScreen determines where an installer cut -out will be on the black backing for acoustic clarity. Existing SoundScreen applications can be retrofitted to add the Vision X black backing.
