Torrance, CA - December 26, 2005 - Realizing that having a perfectly flat, seamless image is not necessarily enough to impress today's consumer, Stewart Filmscreen has been working to improve the aesthetics of their Electriscreen line. One recent development has been the release of the new 'Bow -Tie' Tab.

A system originally developed by Stewart Filmscreen, tab tensioning is the most effective method of ensuring a perfectly flat image area during the life of the screen. Lesser screens not employing this system are prone to developing waves or ripples throughout the screen surface.

Traditional tab -tensioning systems are a great means of keeping the image area flat, but can lead to some puckering in the surrounding border. The thinner, nearly invisible 'Bow Tie' tabs allow for the black border surrounding the image to remain flat, even after years of use. The 'Bow Tie' Tabs are also unobtrusive enough not to distract the viewer from any on -screen action.
