Velodyne Introduces the Powerful, Small and Affordable MiniVee Subwoofer

The MiniVee, a new subwoofer from Velodyne Acoustics, is designed for price conscious consumers who still want loud, deep bass performance out of a small cabinet.

Morgan Hill, CA (November 2, 2005) - - Velodyne Acoustics, Inc., recently announced the introduction of the MiniVee™ subwoofer, a product designed for price conscious consumers who still want loud, deep bass performance out of a small cabinet. The MiniVee carries a suggested retail price of $999.


Coming in just over 10" high, the MiniVee can be easily hidden or integrated into any room décor. The MiniVee delivers the deep, powerful, low -distortion bass Velodyne is known for by featuring a Class D digital amplifier providing 2000 watts dynamic power (1000 watts RMS) coupled with an 8" Kevlar -reinforced cone driven by a massive 12.7 lb. magnet structure. Other features of the MiniVee include a 2.5" 4 -layer copper wound voice coil, oversized spider and vented pole piece. The MiniVee is finished in a stylish black matte vinyl.
