HAI Omni line of home automation controllers now integrate with the i -LiNE system providing complete home security and lighting control.

Electronic Design Techonology (EDT) is pleased to announce its newly formed connectivity partnership with Home Automation, Inc. (HAI). HAI is well known in the industry for its Omni line of home security/automation controllers.

"We are happy to add HAI as a connectivity partner because of their outstanding reputation for quality home automation systems," stated Marc Bally, President of EDT. "The integration of our i -LiNE lighting control products to the HAI Omni line is a great benefit for our customers."

The Omni line of controllers connects to the i -LiNE system through a serial connection. Omni owners are able to activate lighting scenes directly through HAI keypads or set up their own HAI programs based on a complete set of time and event -driven functions.

Integration is performed through the HAI PC Access software. Lighting scenes can be triggered based on real -time schedules or security system events. For complete details, please read the i -LiNE to HAI Integration Application Note.
