Draper offers several ways to use window shades to improve energy efficiency and cut energy costs in homes and other buildings.

In "Green Design", the proper selection of fabrics enable shades to play a valuable part in the building's overall energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality and safety.
Draper duplex shades reduce utility costs and control radiant heat. A duplex fabric is one fabric - with two differently colored sides. The exterior side of the fabric is light and reflects the sun's heat and brightness for thermal comfort and energy savings. The interior side of the fabric is darker and absorbs brightness, decreases glare and provides greater visibility to the outside, as well as UV protection.
Energy conservation issues can also be considered when selecting window shade fabrics. PVC free fiberglass and polyester fabrics are lighter in weight than PVC coated fabrics and as a result, they require fewer raw materials to manufacture. Also, unlike other fabrics, PVC free fabrics discharge no measurable off gassing into the indoor environment.

Not only will you overcome these connectivity obstacles but you can be assured that every termination will meet FCC specifications.
