SIM2's NEW LCD PANEL DELIVERS UNSURPASSED VIDEO QUALITY WITH AN UNPRECEDENTED 8 -MILLISECOND RESPONSE

With the SIM2 HTL40 LINK, consumers finally have the picture speed of plasma with the video quality and color accuracy of LCD.

Miramar, FL - CEDIA EXPO 2005 - SIM2 USA, through their parent company SIM2 Multimedia Inc., unveils the HTL40 LINK LCD panel. Combining the convenience of flat panels, the latest in TFT panel technology, and the intelligence of a remote processing box, the HTL40 LINK achieves an unprecedented 8 -millisecond response time to deliver picture speed plasma, with the rich colors and accuracy of LCD.

The only manufacturer using a remote processing box, SIM2's DigiOptic Image Processor (DOIP) can be placed on the source rack using a single fiber optic cable to connect to the monitor for incredible flexibility in installation and greatly reducing the need for numerous long cable runs to the display.

The HTL40 series (HTL40 LINK and HTL40) has a WXGA resolution of 1366 x 768 - fitting a native 16:9 aspect ratio - and an enhanced 1000:1 contrast ratio. The displays deliver rich, saturated colors, superb gray scale tracking, and a brightness of 600 cd/m2, for a sharp, vivid picture, even in direct sunlight conditions. With Intelligent Memory functions, the HTL40 LINK can store up to 3 image memory settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature, etc. for each input; for a total of 75 settings and 24 respectively. When you select a new source, the parameters stored in each memory may be applied simultaneously. Or, you may simply choose to recall it despite the change of source type.

SIM2's HTL40 LINK and HTL40 displays feature an impressive array of digital connections, including HDMI™ and DVI. HDMI™ is a purely digital connection that transmits the uncompressed bitstream directly from the source through to the display - even high definition - and is backwards compatible with DVI. The system is also upgradeable to accommodate future, additional connections.

Aesthetically stunning, the HTL40 LINK captures a unique blend of state -of -the -art technology and style with front crystal glass, and refined wood or matte silver back panels. The HTL40 LINK has a 40 -inch screen and measures exceptionally thin at 4 -inches in depth and offers up to 170 degrees of horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

The HTL40 LINK has a 40 -inch monitor and is available in three distinctive finishes (Matte Silver, Black Rosewood, and Whitened Oak) for room customization. The HTL40 LINK has an MSRP of $9,995.00 and the HTL40 has an MSRP of $6,995.00.
