FUJITSU DEMONSTRATES ITS CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED LCD PROJECTOR AT CEDIA EXPO 2005

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, September 9, 2005 - Fujitsu, the world's leading manufacturer of high -resolution video display devices, will demonstrate its critically acclaimed LPF -D711 high -definition LCD front projector at Booth 282 during this year's CEDIA EXPO. The LPF -D711 features one of the highest resolutions of any LCD projector on the market.


A top -quality home theater display device, the LPF -D711 projector utilizes Fujitsu's patented Advanced Video Movement -II (AVM -II) digital video processor and three 1920 x 1080 true HD LCD panels. Both SD and HD content are produced at superior levels by one of the few projectors that will accept a true 1080p signal. A separately supplied Selector unit, LPF -QSD1, houses a powerful array of connectivity options, keeping the LPF -D711 compact and lightweight for a seamless installation.

Superior Image Quality, Brightness and Color
Fujitsu's LPF -D711 projector has a 16:9 aspect ratio and employs three 1.3 -inch 1920 x 1080 LCD pixel panels - one each for red, green and blue. The panels operate in conjunction with a polysilicon TFT active matrix drive system and precision micro lens array for exceptional resolution and sharpness. The projector also features a 3300:1 contrast ratio, 1,200 ANSI Lumens brightness, and it is capable of displaying up to 68.7 billion colors.

Equipped with multiple audio and video inputs, including component, HDMI and S -video, the system is easy to connect to a DVD player or HDTV tuner and is compatible with most NTSC, PAL and SECAM formats.
