At the pinnacle of LG's LCD portfolio is the award -winning, 55 -inch LCD HDTV Monitor (55LP1D). This direct -view LCD features a progressive scan display of 1920 x 1080p - the highest resolution available on any HDTV display worldwide - which provides an incredibly sharp viewing experience. Perfect for premium home applications where the highest quality image is essential, the unit has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and brightness of 500 cd/m2. LG's Super In -Plane -Switching (Super IPS) technology provides the industry's fastest response time and a 178 -degree viewing angle - the widest on the market today - for distortion -free viewing from almost any angle.
In addition to the world's largest production LCD monitor - the 55 -inch 55LP1D - LG features several integrated and wireless products to deliver complete end -to -end solutions for the custom installation and home theater markets.
New 42 -, 37 - and 32 -inch widescreen LCD integrated HDTVs feature 1366 x 768p resolution, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, 9 -in -2 Multi Memory Card Reader, Super IPS technology, and built -in speakers. Designed to receive digital HDTV programming and premium cable services without the need for a set -top box, these Digital Cable Ready LCDs are built around industry -standard CableCARDs available from cable operators. The 15 -inch Wireless LCD TV (Model 15LW1R) that includes a built -in rechargeable battery and wireless AV center, enabling consumers to watch TV in any convenient location within a 115 -ft transmission range from the AV center. The perfect addition to any custom installation, the 15LW1R also integrates into a home network, allowing access to pictures and music stored on a remote PC. Providing flexible and convenient solution for "TV on the go," the 15LW1R receives crystal clear images and is PC and video game safe.
