D -Tools Announces Improvements to its Manufacturer Membership Program

Program carries increased emphasis for manufacturers and a new name

CONCORD, CA September 1, 2005 D -Tools, Inc., makers of System Integrator 4.5, announced today that their renowned membership program for manufacturers whose data is included in D -Tools' software application, will undergo significant improvements, beginning with the program name itself.

D -Tools' manufacturer program, previously entitled the Manufacturer Partner Program, has been renamed Manufacturer Vantage Point (MVP) program and comes shortly after the appointment of Bill Johnson as Director of Business Development and Manufacturer Liaison at D -Tools. Johnson brings extensive industry experience from the manufacturer's perspective, having held sales and marketing management positions with companies such as Monster Cable and Premiere HTS Theater Seating.

D -Tools' MVP membership presents a tremendous value to manufacturers by getting their entire line of products in front of a large number of integration companies in the best possible light. D -Tools' software offers a manufacturer's complete product line through a robust product database with up -to -date information. The database tracks up to 40 fields of critical information including dimensions, input and output information, phase of installation, time to install, price, cost, vendor SKU and more which are easily specified in client proposals using simple "drag -and -drop" design tools.

Dealers save huge amounts of time and expense by using D -Tools software when designing and engineering projects. The majority of dealers surveyed state that they prefer to specify components from brands whose products are accurately and professionally represented in their D -Tools software, over other products whether they are a dealer or not. Accordingly, D -Tools established its original Manufacturer Partner Program in order to enlist as many of the best -selling manufacturer brands in the custom industries.

President and Founder of D -Tools, Adam Stone, commented, "Our focus has always centered on improving our system integration software on behalf of our licensed users first, both as a design tool as well as a comprehensive suite of business solutions. Our software has always been equally beneficial to our manufacturer partners, especially in light of the tremendous growth we've seen in our licensed dealer base, attracting a lot more attention and interest from the manufacturers in recent years."

Johnson was quoted as saying, "Any D -Tools software user who is an authorized dealer of a manufacturer member can now simply "drag -and -drop" their products into every project they're designing instantly through their D -Tools system integration software, making it effortless for them to sell that brand's products… instead of a competitors. That's what makes it a "manufacturer's vantage point" to be in our software."

Numerous improvements and enhancements are in store for MVP members, including more advanced statistical reports, improved direct marketing programs targeted to offer greater value to licensed software users and up -to -the -minute information about product specials, recommendations and availability.

D -Tools reports over 2,000 system integration companies who are using their Visio and AutoCAD -based software suite that also includes a host of business management solutions for the professional system integrator, in both the residential and commercial industries.
