Oregon Scientific, Inc., one of the world's leading designers and marketers of award winning, upscale personal electronic products, has today confirmed the launch of its first NXT -enabled product, Music Element, a sleek 2.1 audio system that combines stylish design with high quality audio. Part of Oregon Scientific's new StyleFi range of personal audio products, Music Element will be available in early October.
The system comprises two NXT -based satellite loudspeakers, compact soft loading CD player and powerful subwoofer. The dispersed audio performance, characteristic of NXT SurfaceSound technology, delivers an impressive, room -filling sound while the independent volume, bass, treble and subwoofer level controls provide users with the option of adjusting the system's audio output to suit their environment.
The master unit, finished in a stylish combination of high gloss black and polished aluminium, is capable of MP3/ WMA CD and CD -R/CD -RW (CDDA) playback, while the FM/AM radio has 40 presets. The gentle glow of the vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) combined with LED indicators makes operation easy, while track, album and artist details can be viewed for suitably encoded MP3 CDs.
Aimed at the customer looking for the ultimate in design and performance, Music Element stylishly delivers an excellent package at a price considerably lower than rival designer audio systems. The high quality wall -mountable NXT satellite loudspeakers, housed in a solid aluminium frame, are the perfect complement to the sleek master unit.
Music Element also incorporates preset equalizer effects, allowing users to 'tune' the audio performance to suit their favourite genre of music, such as classical, rock or pop. The system has a combined power output of 55 watts and the NXT satellite loudspeakers are magnetically shielded allowing placement proximate to display sources.
Music Element is priced at $349.00 U.S. and will available worldwide from October 2005. More information can be found at www.oregonscientific.com/stylefi
