Tripp Lite's High Quality AV UPS Systems Certified for Control4's Integrated Partner Program

Home theater resellers and installers can now seamlessly integrate Tripp Lite's UPS systems into their customers' Control4 IP-based home-control installations.

Chicago, IL (August 29, 2005) -Tripp Lite, a world -leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, is proud to announce that its full line of A/V Series UPS Systems will be certified for Control4's Integrated Partner Program. Home theater resellers and installers can now seamlessly integrate Tripp Lite's on -line, pure sine wave and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) UPS systems into their customers' Control4 IP -based home -control installations.

Control4's Integrated Partner Program promotes interoperability of leading manufacturers' equipment with Control4 home automation products. This new Tripp Lite/Control4 partnership will ensure that Tripp Lite A/V Series UPS Systems will be compatible with Control4 IP -based home -control solutions. As part of this program, Control4 will develop plug -n -play drivers that are compatible with all Tripp Lite A/V UPS Systems.

Control4 systems users benefit from Tripp Lite's certification because they can now have complete control and monitoring capabilities over the power coming into their systems. Tripp Lite A/V Series UPS Systems include true on -line, pure sine wave UPS systems in 2U rackmount and cabinet designs, as well as 1U rackmountable Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) systems with capacities up to 2200VA. These world -class UPS systems offer such premium features as IP -addressable capability with remote diagnostics, individual outlet control, communication ports, phone/DSL/Ethernet/Coaxial line surge protection, extended battery backup runtime capability, EMI/RFI line noise filtering and more.
