Redwood City, CA, August 30, 2005 - Digital Deck™, the leading developer of complete home media entertainment systems, has added new top level management with significant consumer electronics and home networking industry expertise. Robert DeFeo has been named the new President and Chief Executive Officer while Ted Malone joins as Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Marketing.

Robert DeFeo, President and CEO

Robert DeFeo has joined DigitalDeck as President, Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Digital Deck, DeFeo served as CEO of Teranex Inc., an image processing solutions provider for the digital media industry, which was successfully sold to Silicon Optix.
DeFeo also served as President and Executive VP Sales & Marketing for Optibase, Inc., a leading provider of digital media gateways for both the enterprise and IPTV and was instrumental in the company's successful IPO. He held sales management positions with Intel, Benchmarq Microelectronics, and Chips and Technologies.

DeFeo holds an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the University of Southern California, and a BS from the University of Pittsburgh.

Ted Malone, VP Corporate Strategy and Marketing

Ted Malone has been appointed Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Marketing for Digital Deck. In this newly created position, Malone will drive the creation of the overall product and service strategy as well as corporate marketing. Previously, Malone led product marketing activities at TiVo for six years, responsible for determining market requirements, product features, configuration, pricing and competitive analysis for a variety of standalone and integrated DVR products.
Malone also was a senior engineering manager at Alias/Wavefront, where he developed product requirements and managed the development team for the creation of two versions of the Zap!iT digital video software line. He also led the studio production group of Silicon Graphic's Silicon Studio division, designing and building the Silicon Graphics Entertainment Technology Center.

Mr. Malone holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University.
