ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL - August 17, 2005 - Digital Innovations is offering inventors of consumer electronics accessories and peripherals the opportunity to take their products to the worldwide market by sponsoring the first annual D.O.C. Winners will be announced at the show on January 5, 2006.

Eligible products are accessories and peripherals that improve or extend the functionality of audio, video, gaming, mobile, computer, photo imaging, or personal security products. Entries should be tangible, beneficial, unique, and oriented to consumers. Entries will be judged on their innovation and originality, ability to enhance or optimize users' lives, and manufacturability and marketability.

"Cash prizes are always an incentive, but most inventors are really motivated by the dream of taking their concept to market. This competition offers both," said Rick Mazursky, CEO of Digital Innovations. "Given our established relationships with retailers like Best Buy and Circuit City, the right product may not only gain wide distribution but also earn substantial royalties that can help fund the winner's next invention."

Entries must be submitted online at by November 8, 2005. Judges will include industry professionals as well as journalists and editors from publications specializing in consumer electronics and gaming.
