OpenPeak Expands Executive Team; Adds Mike Harris As President


BOCA RATON, FLORIDA - AUGUST 2, 2005 - OpenPeak Inc., a leading provider of software -based solutions for controlling digital content, consumer electronics, and systems in the Digital Home, today announced that it is expanding the ranks of its executive team with the addition of Mike Harris in the role of President. As President, Mr. Harris will focus on company operations and corporate strategy.

Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Harris served as President of Digital 5, a software provider enabling streaming of multimedia content throughout the connected home. Before joining Digital 5, Mr. Harris was Vice President of Global Software Strategy for STMicroelectronics, where he focused on strategy and architecture across consumer divisions. Previously, he founded and served as Chief Technology Officer of Ravisent Technologies, a market -leading provider of software technology to the digital media industry. Mr. Harris is a graduate of Purdue University, where he earned a degree in computer and electrical engineering.
