Suttle Launches Next Generation of Structured Wiring Enclosure

The new SOHO Access™ enclosures meet the new TIA-570-B requirements and include a number of new features that speed installation and provide improved wiring versatility of a central distribution device.

Suttle announces the latest generation of their SOHO Access™ structured wiring enclosure after a year of research and design. The new SOHO Access™ enclosures meet the new TIA -570 -B requirements and include a number of new features that speed installation and provide improved wiring versatility of a central distribution device. "The feedback from our customers has been excellent. We're excited to be bringing a grouping of features that is truly new to the market, while maintaining our competitive prices," says Jay Kilby, Product Manager for Suttle's SOHO Access™ products.

The new features begin with the resizing of the enclosure themselves including 14", 21", 28", and 42" enclosure. "These enclosure sizes enable the installer to select the proper enclosure for any project that they may be working on and provide any or all of the functionality the homeowner would want now and into the future," said Jay Kilby

Installation of the new SOHO Access™ enclosure has become much easier because of several new features. A new grid pattern for vertical and horizontal module mounting greatly improves wire management within the enclosure increasing capacity within the enclosure. Flush mount keyholes allow the installer to set the screws and simply slide the enclosure in the studs, saving the installer time and effort. Additionally, recessed flush mounting allow the box to quickly be mounted and set at the correct depth, accounting for the wall board thickness. The improved entry/exit knockout design allows for faster installation and the larger size adds nearly 50% more capacity for cabling.

The new SOHO Access enclosures will be showcased at the CEDIA Expo in September and will be available for delivery later this year.
