Dallas, TX - July 6, 2005 - Lightolier® Controls, a Genlyte Company, is pleased to announce that the LYTEmode™ Architectural Lighting Control System has been accepted for inclusion in the 2005 Illuminating Engineering Society of North America Progress Report. Featured in the 2005 IESNA Progress Report are the LYTEmode™ Wireless Control Unit and the LyteScene™ Touch Screen Master Station. An annual report that highlights product development and improvement in the lighting industry, the IESNA Progress Report will be presented via the IESNA website (www.IESNA.org), at IESNA section meetings throughout the year, and published in the October 2005 issue of LD+A.

"It is truly an honor to be selected for the 2005 IESNA Progress Report," stated Gary Meshberg, Lightolier® Controls Director of Marketing. "Lightolier® Controls' LYTEmode™ product family literally furthers the progress of architectural lighting control systems. Our microprocessor -based technology provides a level of functionality and versatility previously not available which translates into more control options, greater system performance, and design efficiency for both the designer and the end user."

The annual IESNA Progress Report offers the opportunity to present important new products, concepts, research, publications, applications, trends, and activities over the past year in the lighting and illumination industry. The IESNA Progress Committee reviews submissions with a mandate, "To keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world and prepare a yearly review of achievements for the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America."

Utilizing Bluetooth® wireless technology, the LYTEmode™ Wireless Control Unit is designed to communicate with any Master Station located on the LYTEmode™ Architectural Controls Network,

while providing real -time individual channel control, control of 13 "scenes" plus "Off", adjustable fade times, graphic representation of channel intensities, and lighting control status. More detailed Master Station setup features are also accessible including name assignment to individual channels or "scenes", adjusting LED intensity of the Master Station pushbuttons, enabling Auto -Cycle modes, enabling Alarm modes, and control over station lockout. Bluetooth® wireless technology provides up to 30 feet of wireless range for reliable and secure connections to the Architectural Lighting Control System.

Through a colorful, graphical interface, the innovative LyteScene™ Touch Screen Master Station captures and simulates the control panel functions of any selected LYTEmode™ Network Master Station or Remote in real time. With only a few simple touches of the screen, adjustments can be made to any individual channel or "scene" presets in any room in the system. While the LyteScene™ Touch Screen Master Station is capable of displaying and changing the setting of any control station in the system, all programming memory and functionality remains distributed so that the system does not rely on any single component for full operation. The LyteScene™ Touch Screen Master Station also offers an optional Astronomical Time Clock, which allows a substantial number of lighting adjustments to coincide with specific days, times, sunrises, or sunsets.

Both the LYTEmode™ Wireless Control Unit and the LyteScene™ Touch Screen Master Station are listed by Underwriters Laboratories, CE marked, and comply with the Federal Communications Commission.
